  • Maybe for advertising/promoting independent films, but certainly not for releasing. The video/audio quality is simply horrible. YouTube and clones would only work for promotional purposes and advertising a URL to a website where the movie can be downloaded via HTTP, FTP, BitTorrent, etc.

  • He was a contractor. Contractors lack the same benefits/privileges/rights afforded to normal employees. They can be let go for any reason at any time. The idiot is just trying to play the overplayed discrimination card.

  • Sorry pet lovers, but a dog is not a human and there are people who kill other people (yes, humans) who get sentences this long. Way to ruin their lives -- a more fitting sentence would be a couple months, a fine and having to see a therapist to work out whatever issues they have.
